There are few women from our generation that really inspire me on the same levels that Patti, Debbie or Joan do…so when I do find someone that really is that rad – I’m IN LOVE. One of those women is Alexa Chung. Let me count the ways:
1. She’s not a one-trick-pony. She’s modeled, yes, but she’s not JUST a pretty face! She’s a hilarious tv host (It’s On With Alexa Chung), an editor for British Vogue, AND wrote her own book, It. And it’s fantastic.
2. Her street style. Not only does she look good in whatever a designer puts her in, she also has a unique style of her own. She has 5 British Style Awards under her belt. She’s like our era’s Jane Birkin – effortlessly cool and casually chic! Here’s a pic of her serving some Birkin realness (down to the signature straw bag omg) :
3. She’s goofy. This girl is totally silly and does not take herself seriously. No matter what she stays super humble and isn’t afraid to make fun of herself! Seriously. Follow her on Twitter – she always makes us giggle!
4. Somehow her eyeliner is always on point. And we respect that. 
5. She’s a feminist. And we’re dying to be in her girl gang – she throws SLUMBER PARTIES.
6. One time, she dated Alex Turner and they were THE couple of the ’00s. One time, he wrote her this letter, and anyone who leaves that kind of impression on a man has got to be some sort of goddess:
7. And now she dates TOTAL BABE Alexander Skarsgard. Ugh. SO LUCKY. Here’s a pic of them canoodling in a park being perfect together basically.
8. She has her own bag. You know you’re an It Girl when a designer names a bag for you. Like Birkin before her with Hermes, Alexa Chung was a muse for Mulberry.
