It’s us, your Curvy Warriors, Lead Designer Corinne and Assistant Buyer Haleigh. We’ve returned to the super stylish new blog to bring you a late-in-the-season outfit post. Like the last few drops of ice cream on a hot day, we all know sometimes the end of summer can be a messy situation outfit-wise. The question of how to transition your cute summer looks into even cuter fall looks weighs on everybody’s mind… and us curvy babes are no exception! We’ve picked a few of our fave looks to guide you through this transition with helpful hints and styling options for ALL bodies.
LOOK ONE: BEACH GOTH
We are extremely into the idea of wearing black all year round, even during the hot summer months. In this look (and throughout this post) you’ll notice that both of us are fans of the crop top look. While this can be a super daunting idea for some, the crop top is not only versatile, but on-trend and comfortable. Being confident never goes out of style, so bare some belly! The key to keeping the look balanced for any body is to wear something with a high waist in order to bring the eye upwards and balance your shape.
Adding a sheer or peekaboo element to the look keeps it from being “too” goth for summer (as if there was such a thing) and also keeps the outfit a little cooler temperature wise! It’s also a good idea if you’re a little skin-shy and want to feel covered-up while still keeping cool in the last heat wave of the season.
Don’t forget your all black accessories! Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you should forego your O-Ring choker or Harnesses! Black stone jewels complete the look.

LOOK TWO: GARDEN BOHO
The end of summer means cooler nights, outdoor barbeques, and more adventures since it’s not too hot to go exploring! Maxi skirts and bell bottoms provide a bohemian look that flatters your shape while still keeping you covered. However, we’re not about covering up everything; off-the-shoulder peasant tops showcase statement jewels and tattoos while super deep “capital” V-neck tees show off your “deets & teets” (or a cute bralette!)
Bohemian means all about the jewels, so don’t be afraid to stack them ON, girl. Or wrap them around; the feather wrap necklace is super versatile and can be wrapped so many ways!
Don’t forget a hat or a shady spot; even at the end of summer, sun-protection is so important! Slather on that SPF and get to exploring!

LOOK THREE: PINUP PICNIC
Call us old-fashioned; we don’t mind, especially when it comes to our silhouettes of choice! Whether you were blessed with curves, an hourglass, or a beautifully straight bod, you can rock this look. High waisted skirts in any length flatter the hips and when paired with tie detailing at the waist it creates the illusion of curves or highlights ones you’ve already got.
The best thing about this look is that it easily transitions into fall! Loving button ups for summer? Button them up and throw a leather over them for fall. If your button-ups don’t button over your, ahem, “assets,” leave unbuttoned and tie at the waist! Tee shirts can go from cool weather to warm if you know how to tie a knot. The possibilities are endless!
Don’t get us wrong, there’s still a couple juicy months of summer left to savor. However, in the fashion world we move fast; the time to start thinking fall is now, babes! Enjoy the last few days and simply throw on some tights when the weather starts getting a little nippy, or when you’re hitting up a bonfire!
